About The Amish Project (Ensemble)
Inspired by the events surrounding the 2006 Nickel Mines schoolhouse shooting in Pennsylvania, The Amish Project is a fictional exploration of a community struggling to make sense of an unimaginable tragedy.
Through an ensemble of actors who bring multiple perspectives from the Amish community and beyond, the play explores the questions, contradictions, and humanity that emerge in the aftermath of a devastating event. Haunting and deeply empathetic, The Amish Project asks what it means to forgive, to grieve, and ultimately, to find a path forward.
